I went to the Big E, (a BIG state fair where I’m from) most of the day and night and by the time I was home I was done, batteries dead. But, I decided not to skip it entirely especially after I peaked in on this blog and saw that wonderful poetry was getting written. I decided to share this one but please go check out the page. There is a lot there and it is wonderful, at: Seasons: A Poetic Journey
Here is the poem:
Devil in a white dress
Words slippery, falling on wet moss
shifting in the shadows of grown beards
lies a devil in a white dress.
Lost in the fog
appearing in your head
she wants to know where she is
and still you cant tell her
where your visions go.
All she needs to know is
shifting in the shadows of grown beards
lies a devil in a white dress.
I miss New England in the Fall.
