Second Week of April, 1935 Excerpt

Sunday April 14, 1935
When Caveman talks to me he always looks at Jeanette.  I’m going to tell him someday.  They’re out now, after we came home.  Mother went to the opera.  How does that sound?  It’s at the high school.  I had a lovely time with Jenete buzz, buzzing.  The dad and I had a talk over old times, present times, etc. Marriage

When Babu read the part about her mother going to the opera we said the same thing at the same time:  “How does that sound?”  She was reading from the passage and I was being sassy.  To be fair, I probably subconsciously remembered since I typed it.

I wonder what the “buzz buzzing” was.  🙂
