Wednesday, January 9, 1935

I had no chance whatsoever in the tryouts

for the senior play.  All the good kids got in

first and all I did was to say one line with a

whole bunch of others.  WBZ tried out for

Dizzy and had and I had to shake hands

with him.  I’d rather like to be his girl.  I tried

out a little part but way at the end and so I

didn’t get much attention.
